People need mercy. When Job suffered, his wife said to him, “Are you still maintaining your integrity? Curse God and die!” He replied, “You are talking like a foolish woman. Shall we accept good from God, and not trouble?” In all this, Job did not sin in what he said. Job still endured in hardships, and finally God turned him from the predicament.

In fact what he encountered was the devil attacked him, and devil spoke through his wife's mouth. It was like the devil had hindered Jesus from the road to Cross through Peter, the serpent had tempted Adam through Eve.

When Naomi's family suffered, we saw Naomi's love for her daughter-in-law. She was able to deal gently with her two daughter-in-law to let them remarry for there were three women left in her family. Her felt her own lonely was really hard, and felt for her two young daughter-in-law so she hoped that her two daughter-in-law could have husbands to rely on. So she regardless herself to let them go away, and later left herself alone. Mother-in-law dealt gently with daughter-in-law and daughter-in-law loved mother-in-law to the end.

Lud reaffirmed her love for mother-in-law, no matter how she was, Lud would follow, serve her firmly .Because she considered her mother-in-law was also old, if they both left, who cared after her ? In fact, this was also a spiritual war.

Naomi's love was God's test of two daughter-in-law. Lud was able to win the test, like Job, though his wife urged him to leave God but he still held his hope and faith on God's mercy though he could not see it. Lud won in the battle, what is the final end of her? Although she was originally a Moab woman that she could not enter the temple of God. However she had also become a saved person finally.

How was the other daughter-in-law who left the mother-in-law's Naomi? She also had love because she could won test of the environment that she still loved and served her mother-in-law. But she could not won her mother-in-law's urging, so she left her that she left the opportunity to be saved and lost the opportunity to be saved.

In the respect of secular, Naomi considered for the daughter-in-law but in the respect of spiritual Naomi was her enemy, because Naomi exposed her to mortal danger in the end. The Bible tells us that a man’s enemies will be the members of his own household.’ In the respect of spiritual father exposed his son to mortal danger and mother-in-law exposed daughter-in-law to mortal danger.

But what could Naomi say in her environment that witness had left her family? However she still considered and dealt gently with them. We can see her self-sacrifice love that she did not seek her own good but the good of them. So finally the God also repay Naomi to turn her sweet from bitter.

Lud finally seized the precious opportunity of being saved and blessed after coming to Israel because of her love and faith. When the wheat was harvested, she enlisted her mother-in-law's consent to pick up the wheat. When had any question, ask her mother-in-law. And Naomi thought carefully for her.

We see that after Noah drank, he was naked. The father of Canaan saw the shame of his father, he did not cover his father's shame, but proclaim to his brothers his father's shame, so he was cursed by God.

While Shem and Japheth, sons of Noah's covered the father's shame and respected his father. But Shem and Japheth took a garment and laid it across their shoulders; then they walked in backward and covered their father’s naked body. Their faces were turned the other way so that they would not see their father naked. God blessed Shem and the Japheth resulting in today's history'direction and situation.

The Shem eastward development and the Lord is the Shem' God, faith is out of the Shem; Japheth westward development and expand the realm in the whole territory.

Paul says: What is love?Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.

God is love. Those who do not love brothers and sisters, still be in the dark. Those who do love brother and sister, still be in the light of God. Not only love brothers and sisters, but also love all people. Because the darkness is passing and the true light is already shining. Mercy triumphs over judgment.
