- In the name of Jesus to share what is the correct baptism according to Holy Bible.

(Matthew 28:18-19 NKJV)And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

(Mark 16:15-16 NKJV)And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. "

From the verses above, we can learn:

1. The baptism is the commandment of Jesus;

2. If someone believes Jesus, he should obey Jesus' commandment to accept baptism;

3. He who believes and is baptized will be saved.

- What is the function of baptism?

1. To fulfill the righteousness of God

(Matthew 3:13-15 NKJV)Then Jesus came from Galilee to John at the Jordan to be baptized by him. And John tried to prevent Him, saying, “I need to be baptized by You, and are You coming to me?” But Jesus answered and said to him, “Permit it to be so now, for thus it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness.” Then he allowed Him.

2. To be born again

To enter the kingdom of God, we must be born again from both water and the Holy Spirit.

(John 3:3,5 NKJV)Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.

3. To wash sin away

(Acts 2:38 NKJV)Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. '

(Acts 22:16 NKJV)And now why are you waiting? Arise and be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on the name of the Lord.’

4. Baptized into Jesus is bapztied into His death

(Romans 6:3 NKJV)Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death?

5. To be buried with Jesus

(Romans 6:4)Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

6. To be sanctified and justified

(Corinthians 6:11)And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God.

- How to conduct baptism?

(Ephesiams 4:4-6)There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.'

There is only one God, one Lord, one faith, one baptism. It means there is one God whose name is Jesus. Meanwhile, there is only one correct baptism, which is demonstrated by by Jesus Christ.
