There are many blind spots in our lives. Sometimes we would parrot what others say. Sometimes we would make some unconscious behaviors and even smash our neighbors. The most sad thing is that we have deviations from asking Lord for help so that it is detrimental to spiritual life. The above enumeration is exactly what is discussed in the theme verse, and we need to be vigilant and take it as a warning.

1 I don’t know what to ask for

Jacob, John, and their mother ask Jesus for one thing:Grant that one of these two sons of mine may sit at your right and the other at your left in your kingdom. In the eyes of this mother, she only has her own son. And in the eyes of this sons ,they only have their own future. Mother loves son and son loves future.

Jesus said that they did not know what they were asking for.

In the subconscious, they ignorantly believe that Jesus will be king on the ground, and many followers have this hopeless hope like them. Their request is selfish, regardless of the other apostles, which leads to public anger; we must not care for our own affairs, but also for others. Self-centered service will inevitably hurt other limbs!

They don't know how different they are in the kingdom of Jesus for the greatest and the earth. On the ground, you can gain a respectable position through talents, relationships, etc. The people who are respected are often dictated or even arrogant. In the Lord, they are different from the world, and they drink holy hill and serve people. Later Jacob and John drank holy hill: Jacob snarled for faith, and John was exiled to the island of Patmos for his faith.

The laws of the kingdom of heaven are very different from the laws of the land-states. There are many loyal servants in the world, obeying the instructions of the Lord, and serving the people with all their heart and soul. In the future, they will gain the crown of honor and glory in heaven!

2 I don’t know what to say.

When Jesus was transfigured before Peter, Peter was asleep, and when he woke up, he said something unintelligible.

Peter is straightforward, outspoken and a man of strange temper. He said that he would put three shelters and make his own distribution according to his will: one for Jesus, one for Moses, and the other for Elijah. The apostle seems to want to keep the sages between the mountains and the white clouds.

Peter did not know how wrong it was to have Jesus and Moses and Elijah juxtaposed. He was promptly corrected by the Father. Only Christ Jesus is the only Savior, surpassing Moses and the Law!

Peter does not know that there are still people under the mountains who need Jesus. Just forgetting to carry away the spiritual high realm, but simply do not consider the people who seek medical treatment and truth under the mountain! If the people have been staying on the mountain, how can they serve the people under the mountain?

Christ is not the one who avoids the world, but the Lord who became flesh. Christ is the only Savior, and no one can be equal.

3 I do not know what to do

In the sayings of Jesus on the cross, Jesus who suffered for saving you and me said the scene of the people under the cross: they didn’t know what to do! When the people shouted at the crucifixion of Jesus, did they not remember the miraculous signs that Jesus had personally manifested on them or in the tribes? Yes, everyone shouted at the crucifixion of Jeus. Was there any place where the Lord has offended them? No.

In fact, it is not without, but Jesus pointed out their sins. And from the perspective of the law, Jesus committed the law, such as doing good on the Sabbath. God can absolutely save Joseph from prison, help Daniel out of the lion's crater, avoid Jeremiah from getting stuck in the mud, let Paul avoid the three shipwrecks, and let the three Hebrew youths not be thrown into In the fire furnace. But he allowed these sufferings to happen, and as a result these people were thus more closer to God.

Suffering forces us to turn to God, to rely on him, not on ourselves. Paul testified for this: "We do not want you to be uninformed, brothers and sisters, about the troubles we experienced in the province of Asia. We were under great pressure, far beyond our ability to endure, so that we despaired of life itself. Indeed, we felt we had received the sentence of death. But this happened that we might not rely on ourselves but on God, who raises the dead. He has delivered us from such a deadly peril, and he will deliver us again. On him we have set our hope that he will continue to deliver us."

No matter what your difficulties are caused by, they will not happen without the permission of God. Everything that happens to God's children is filtered by the Father, and even if Satan and others attempt to destroy you, however God deliberately uses difficulties to benefit you.

The people echoed and shouted at crucifixion of Jeus. Is it feared that the members of the guild will be disqualified from entering the synagogue, and become the victims of the so-called democracy at that time? It is very possible! Pilate is forced by the voice of the masses to abandon the principle of justice and release one robber Barabbas. Historical records: The Roman government has warned him because of tensions in the Pilate region. He is afraid to step down and cannot stand the intimidation of the masses.

From then on, Pilate tried to set Jesus free, but the Jewish leaders kept shouting, “If you let this man go, you are no friend of Caesar. Anyone who claims to be a king opposes Caesar.” (约翰福音 19:12 NIV)

The soldiers under the cross were routinely nailed to the Lord, and they did not know that Jesus was the Savior. They regard Jesus as a mortal and see the blood of Jesus as normal! What we want, speak, and do all need to meet God's requirements? This is a spiritual subject worth pondering.

my people are destroyed from lack of knowledge. “Because you have rejected knowledge, I also reject you as my priests; because you have ignored the law of your God, I also will ignore your children. (何西阿书 4:6 NIV)

“I tell you, whoever publicly acknowledges me before others, the Son of Man will also acknowledge before the angels of God. But whoever disowns me before others will be disowned before the angels of God. And everyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but anyone who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven. (路加福音 12:8-10 NIV)

In fact, we are all weak people. There is no exaggeration. Jesus came to save us.We must embrace each other with love, communicate with each other in peace, and strive to preserve the heart that God has given to oneness, and use the Word of God to constantly cleanse ourselves and renew ourselves by the power of the Holy Spirit. If we do not rely on the grace of God, we are unable to stand, so we must tolerate the faults of others as the Father tolerates us; to forgive the sins of others, as the Father forgives us.
