Psalm 25:3. Those who wait for you will not be ashamed, but those who are treacherous for no reason must be ashamed. 4. Lord, please show me your way and teach me your way. 5. Guide me with your truth and teach me, because you are the God who saves me, I am waiting for you all day long.

When Abraham had not yet lived in Haran, the glory of God appeared to him and said to him: You must leave the local and relatives, and go where I want to show you. He left the land of the Chaldeans and lived in Haran.

Although Abraham did not know where to go, he would experience something in the future, but he obeyed the call of God and left the local and relatives.(Acts 7:2)

He descended from the lower reaches of the Euphrates River to the upper reaches of Harlan. Later his father died. The voice of God came to him again and said to him: You must leave the local, the native, the father's house, and go to the place where I will direct you.

He started from Haran and left his father's house. At this time, he really left the Euphrates River, entered the Jordan River, and went to the land of Canaan.(Gen. 12:1)

Later, when Canaan suffered a famine, he went to Egypt. In Egypt, he endured the great pain of the wife being taken away. However he was conservative by God. His wife returned peacefully and he returned to the land of Canaan.

His nephew, Lot also had a lot of industry and then the family had a dispute. So the two separated, and he gave the good to him.

Because of his two children, Isaac and Ishmael, his wife got up to test him. The family has encountered great disputes. Later, he obeyed the words of God to listen to his wife's instructions and sent the servant Hagar brought from Egypt and Hagar’s son leave him.

God told him to offer his only beloved son, Isaac, as a burnt offering. He rose early in the morning and headed for Mount Sinai. While the knife was being lifted, God stopped him and prepared a lamb to replace his son. Abraham believed in God and God used this as his righteousness.

Although he did not see by his eyes, he saw it by faith, and waited patiently and gladly.

He lived in the land of Canaan and experienced many difficulties.

Abraham had been tested for a long time, but the reward he received was extremely thick. God tested him with methods such as delaying the promise; Satan tempted him with temptation; the world attacked him with blasphemy, doubt and opposition; and Sarah repeatedly tested him.

But he has long been patient, he believes in God and trusts in God. He looked up to God's love. He trusted God's faithfulness. He trusted under the power of God. He fell down in front of the Great King. Although God seems to be delayed for a long time, although he has drifted away in the world, he believes in God, depends on God, and waits for his God.

He was patient for a long time because he believed in God. Although he has not received the promised for the time being, he only saw them and welcomed them from a distance. He also admitted that he was a foreigner and stranger on earth. Because what you see is temporary, what you don't see is forever. So God is called as a god of Abraham. Because God has prepared a more beautiful home for Abraham, that is in heaven.

Dear brethren and sisters, Abraham’s faith really make impatient people ashamed, make complaining people blamed, make patient people comforted, make obedient people encouraged.

Abraham had been tested, and he had long waited for God, and he believed in the True God. We should follow his example, that those who have faith are children of Abraham.

Heb 6:15. In this way, Abraham has long been patient, and he has received the promise.

Galatians 3:9, it is visible that the faith-based person is blessed with the faithful Abraham.
